Who we are
We are an organization dedicated to camping responsibly and advocating for campers whenever and wherever we can. We are also dedicated Americans protecting our Public Lands by keeping them clean and usable for everyone.
Perhaps another way of saying it is this: Boondockers United is a volunteer and donor supported organization focused on the continued use of clean public camping lands. Fostering good public relations and relaxed interaction with BLM (Bureau of Land Management) and National Forest Service (NFS) management and rangers is very important. Bridging gaps is important to us.
We are working together to make camp, travel and the use of our national lands an even better experience!
Education is a big part of our organization as well. Educating the public about the benefits of camping on our public lands and how to do that responsibly is something we are very committed to. Check out our Blog for some educational information.
We have AWESOME Volunteers who are in-person or virtual via the volunteer donor option. Be sure to join us today!
By joining our cause and contributing to Boondockers United you show your commitment to being on the leading edge for the continued use of Public Lands – click above on the Contribute Now button. When you contribute, we will send you a free Boondockers United bumper sticker. The primary program is the “Dump for Free” whereby we will pay any dump fees that a volunteer may incur while disposing of trash which they have voluntarily cleaned up. Contact us for more information.
